After lunch, I saw an advertisement of one of technology website that I usually visit to read  some information technology news that he posted. Surprisingly, I saw  that the famous iPhone 3G 8gb will sell for only $99 in the U.S.  If this was true which I think it is, then how will this affect the market. Do Globe will make some adjustment with it’s costing on plans? This was the discussion that we made after we ate our lunch. My officemate told me that there is no difference in terms of costing because the TelCo specifically Globe will shoulder the shortage. I visited yugatech to see if he already post his opinion about this but I only found the post about iPhone 3g-s which Apple’s new creation.  On the comment section I saw someone asked the same question I asked. Does this affect the market? Will only Globe can answer this question. I hope they will make some adjustments or maybe lower the price so that more people can afford to buy it.

As for the iPhone 3G-S, this is an upgrade version of iPhone 3G. Apple  added some features to indicate some speed on it. Aside from that they also add some bigger storage capacity for about 16GB and 32GB. They also enhance the camera features, they added autofoucs and able to record videos up to 30 frames per second. Battery life is 50% longer than before and HSDPA performance of up to 7.2 mega bytes per second. So, what can you ask for about this gadget. U.S release is on June 19, 2009 tentatively, so probably this will be available in the Philippines after 2 to 3 weeks.
