Getting Prepared
I think that it is about time that I did some more computer training. I work for a small company and they do not provide me with any training. I like to keep my skills up to date though, partly because I really enjoy doing course but also because I want to keep my mind fresh. It is also good to have training courses on my CV in case I want to move jobs. I am also becoming more and more aware that smaller companies are suffering in this recession and so I need to be prepared to have to look for something else. I think that the IT training will certainly make me more employable if necessary. It is sad to think that I might have to change jobs as I have worked for the company for a very long time and get on very well with everyone. We have all put lots of energy into making the company a success and it would be sad for all of us if we could not get through the recession. At the moment things are slowing down a bit but there is still enough money to pay our salaries but we are prepared for that to change.
