First President of Philippine Republic Passed Away

cory This morning when I visited GMANews.tv I was shocked to read the headline of the news website saying that Former Philippine President Corazon Aquino, icon of people power in the Philippines and around the world, passed away at around 3:18 in the morning today. The news was announce by her son Senator Benigno Aquino III.

Aquino died at the age of 76, cause of her death was the colon cancer that diagnosed last March 2008. She was treated with chemotherapy and underwent surgery to remove parts of her colon in the Makati Medical Center.

Filipinos are mourning to the death of the Former President as well as the world.
